Currently the toke refresh is blocking, which results in some UI hangs and ANR errors.

The blocking token refersh most likely also leeds to ANR in the player (via playhead reporting) and other major issues, if it can't be fixed now, disable the synchronisation (multiple refresh rewuests will be sent).
